In the heart of the Sassi of Matera, DEDALO creates an immersive dining experience where subterranean architecture becomes an integral part of the narrative. Vaults, niches and sculpted
surfaces welcome guests into intimate, enveloping spaces shaped by light and material.

The project enhances the organic nature of the existing structure through a contemporary, measured language: light-wood furnishings, neutral surfaces and essential details fit into the cavities of the rock. Sinuous floor lines guide the route between reception, dining rooms and private spaces, while pendant lights amplify the height of the vaults and make the environment dynamic and sensory.

OF Project handled the architectural design, detailed development and turnkey Contract supply, from technical design and production through to installation.
Particular attention was devoted to the wine cellar, also conceived as an intimate alcove for private dinners. Every element was coordinated to preserve the identity of the place and transform it into a unique dining experience.
